The Edge Tub Elite is our premium 1HP Chiller, cools as low as 37°F and can heat up to 104°F. Comes in Standard or XL Tub Size.
The Edge Tub Legacy is our more affordable and perfect residential unit with a .8HP chiller that cools as low as 37°F. It does not have hot-tub mode and only comes in Standard Tub Size.

The Standard Tub is comfortable for full body immersion for people up to roughly 6'4
We encourage you to leave it on, that way the tub is constantly cleaning, filtering, and cooling the water. It also will keep the water at your desired temperature, so it’s always ready for you.
The amount of electricity that The Edge Tub uses is based on a few factors including the ambient temperature, set point of the water temperature, if it is placed in direct sunlight, how often it is changed from cold to hot or vice versa, and local electricity rates.
In addition, you can also use The Edge App to set run schedules so it turns on and off around your typical usage time. In general, we expect costs to be less than $1/day,
Yes! The Edge Tub is IPX4 weather resistant and can certainly be outside. If outside, we do recommend setting up beneath some shade or covering to avoid direct exposure to sun, rain, and other elements to avoid accelerated aging of the unit.
**Please note that the Chiller cannot be outside when the temperature is below freezing - the pipes are at risk of freezing. Running it hot would not guarantee a solution.
What our thousands of customers do who live in cold weather states during winter is either bring the entire tub setup inside to their garage, basement, or another room, OR bring the Chiller in, leaving the tub outside which will cool naturally from the ambient temperature.
Edge Tub Legacy, Edge Tub Elite, and Edge Tub Core products carry a 1 year limited warranty against manufacturing defects and other issues associated with normal product use.

We are committed to ensuring you have a working unit so you can maximize the benefits of your Edge Tub.
Should issues arise with your Edge Tub, our US based customer support team is standing by to support you. The majority of issues are solvable through remote troubleshooting via email, phone, and our help center articles and videos. If we are unable to resolve remotely, we will initiate and Return and Repair so we can repair and refurbish it with our in-house technician at our San Diego HQ.
Any repairs that occur within the warranty period (including shipping and handling) will be covered 100% by Edge Theory Labs. Outside of the warranty period, we will still support with this same return and repair process, however the customer will pay the nominal costs for shipping, handling, parts, and labor.
Our goal with building The Edge Tub was to offer the highest quality and most practical unit at the most affordable price possible. There’s some things we aren’t willing to cut corners and sacrifice on, such as the quality of compressor, water pump, and vacuum pump.
These are the easiest to cut costs on with cheaper options out there, especially other portable options.
We feel that it’s really important that you can pick up the phone or send an email and talk with a real human, so having customer support team and in-house technician also sets us apart from competitors out there, many of whom are drop-shipping from overseas and offer little or sometimes zero customer support.

The Tub arrives from FedEx or UPS in a few boxes right to your door, and some have likened the setup to an adult Lego set.
The setup is plug in play and you can expect it to take less than 30 minutes. I recently purchased the Edge Theory Cold Plunge, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The setup was incredibly straightforward. The tub inflates quickly with the included hand pump. We were up and running within less than an hour from opening the two boxes to having the tub full of water and cooling. So far the maintenance has been easy, just about 5 minutes a week to check the two filters and checking the water chemical levels. Everything was provided, including several filters and the initial oxidizer and sanitizer. The first filter lasted about two weeks, but the second one made it over a month without issue. The cost to maintain should be relatively low. The filtration system works efficiently, keeping the water clean with minimal effort. The wifi chiller works well and cools in a reasonable time. We have it set to run about 2 to 3 hours before we normally would want to plunge. We have had no issue getting down to temp in Arizona this summer. If you're looking for a cold plunge that's simple to setup and maintain, I highly recommend the Edge Theory Cold Plunge.
I researched multiple cold plunge setups prior to purchasing the Elite XL model. It’s been 2 months of daily use and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s high quality materials and it is so well insulated that you don’t have to run it long to get it back up to your daily desired temperature. The schedule you can setup through their app is truly the best feature. The water is always super clean so their self filtering system really works. 10/10 worth the money.
I did a lot of research before making my purchase, and I definitely do not regret my choice of the Edge tub. What I love the most is the app and having set times for the tub to cool down to my ideal temp. Setup was easy. Care and maintenance has been a breeze and everything about the tub & chiller/heater is quality.
For the last 2.5 months I’ve been using the elite XL cold plunge. Transitioning from my bath tub! Lol It’s convenient, clean and ready to go 24/7! I’ve been plunging at 50 degrees. I did my research just like everyone else! But the main reason I plunge is for better health! In all the videos out there on the internet you never see anyone coughing or blowing their nose!
